All Hallow's Eve

For Halloween Lincoln was a short necked little giraffe. ;) He sure made a cute one. I don't know why, but I totally love giraffes! His car seat, stroller, bedding, and room decor are all giraffe related. So when we went to Utah and Natalie Weeks said she had a giraffe costume, it was perfect!
I realized once we got home he had a little monkey pajama outfit too....so I put him in that during the day, and his giraffe costume for the treats and tricks. I had a doctors appointment he went with me to as a monkey, and then we went to visit my work....he got to see all of them dressed up, and got to show off his cute costumes.

First time in his costume, he loved it! ;P
We went trick-or-treating at the outlets with his cousins and their friends. Turns out, he slept thru the whole thing! I guess his costume was a little too warm and cozy it zonked him right out. So other than the fact I carried him around the outlets in his car seat, it was easy peasy with him. If only I would have brought his stroller! He normally hates his car seat that I figured I didnt need to worry about bringing one, and that I would end up just carrying him. Well I guess I
m that much stronger for lugging him around....Luckily he has good aunts that helped carry him too :)
Erin and her best little friend loved the little giraffe. :)

Me and the Link man
Life is rough ;)
He was pooped! All that sleeping must have worn him right out!

Andi from work and the little monkey....

This giant pumpkin was at my mom's school, so when we went to visit her, he wanted to play on it. I told him it said no climbing on the pumpkin, but he insisted ;)
It was so fun to be in Morgan for a few days.... Unfortunately I left just short of Nate and Kristy's big spook alley they do for Halloween. But at least I could get a sneak peek of the kids in their costumes.
Grandpa Gorilla (his costume for the spook alley) and Spee power-ranger-Gorilla.
Spee, Christian, and Lincoln
I sure do have some great nephews!
And...here is the cute little monkey--

Don't tell him, But I think I can see right to his bones!

Blessing the Babe

We blessed Lincoln Last Sunday, November 7. It was a good day. He was a good boy, and we had good company. :) Ryan's family, Emily's family, and Rick's family all joined us. It happened to be the same day they divided our ward as well...so not the typical Sunday. I guess it was time for our 600 + ward to be trimmed down. So besides getting to hear Lincoln's blessing, they also got to see the explanation of boundaries and the tears that followed. It was too bad I didn't get the opportunity to bear my testimony as it wasn't the normal fast and Testimony meeting, but that's ok, I had a testimony in my heart. ;) I'm not one to rush to get up and do it, however, I always thought the day I bless my babies would always be a good time to stand. I guess we'll start with number 2 ;-)

After church we had a little lunch at our house. It was cozy and fun with everyone. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE having a house to entertain in?? To finally be the ones to wave others goodbye and NOT have to be the ones to drive home? Yes, it is amazing :)

Our Little Family of 3. I sure do love them!

Haha I sure do love him!
Dave snapped a few pictures of Lincoln for me while we were home in Utah....He got a handsome subject, and I got a nice quality picture. Win-Win =) Unfortunately this was before he started to smile...once we got back to Texas he was full of them!

Our bright eyed Little Boy

The helping hands :) I have Wonderful Sisters, and Sisters-in-laws!

Luckily it was a very nice day. I tell you, Texas 70's in November definitely beats Utah snow in November :)
Consequently the kids got to eat out side. Happy kids. And Happy parents :)

Babe Lincoln

Clearly having an offspring has not helped me be any better at blogging. And now because it is too overwhelming to start back 9 + weeks ago, I'll just begin now.
Here is Lincoln, Our Pride and Joy :)
He was a week old in these pictures, and was such a good little model :) My friend Brenda took these for me....there are so many good ones to choose from, I just chose a couple of my favorites for now.
But You can see the rest here .

1 + 1 = 3

Well, as many of you know by now, we are expecting our first little addition to our family in September. A blog post just cannot simply tell you how excited I am. Pretty much all I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a mom....all of that schooling and working were just stepping stones to get here (haha, but really ;)....and here we are, less than 5 months away!
That is really the biggest news in the Rowe's apartment....
Oh, except one other exciting thing this summer, is....We're building a house! Yep, 2 of the biggest things in our life (other than marriage itself) are happening just months from now. Our house should be done in June. We are pretty darn excited to be home owners as well. So now we'll have time to move in, nest and get all the baby stuff ready just in time!
Sorry there's no pictures....I figured I just had to bite the bullet and update picture-less or this may never get posted until after our little bundle of joy gets here! ;)
